(Nassau, The Bahamas) RF Bank & Trust, a leading investment bank based in The Bahamas, continues its commitment to community health by making dual contributions to kidney health organizations in the country in support of Kidney Awareness Month, observed in March. The donations were made in the form of staff shirts from the Bahamas Kidney Association and a monetary donation to the Kidney Center in Freeport to support their kidney month initiatives.

As a pillar of its philanthropic efforts, RF Bank & Trust prioritizes health and safety initiatives within the communities it serves. With kidney disease, including complications arising from high blood pressure and diabetes, affecting 10 to 13 percent of the adult population in The Bahamas, the need for awareness and prevention measures is critical, according to the Bahamas Kidney Association.

"The mission of the Association aligns closely with RF Bank & Trust's dedication to supporting the holistic well-being of individuals and communities," stated Rachael Allahar, AVP of Marketing at RF Bank & Trust. "We recognize the importance of increasing public awareness of kidney health and preventing kidney disease to enhance the quality of life for all Bahamians."

The Kidney Association of The Bahamas aims to educate the public on kidney functions and promote preventive measures against kidney disease. Their vision to reduce instances of kidney failure in The Bahamas resonates deeply with RF Bank & Trust's broader goal of assisting clients in creating wealth, encompassing financial, social, and physical well-being.

"The donation to the Freeport Kidney Center reflects our commitment to supporting organizations that directly address the challenges faced by individuals living with kidney failure," continued Rachael Allahar, AVP of Marketing at RF Bank & Trust. "Hemodialysis treatments provided by the Kidney Centre are vital to the well-being of patients, and we are proud to contribute to this essential service."

The Kidney Centre in Freeport provides critical hemodialysis treatments to patients suffering from kidney failure, helping to alleviate the burden of the disease on affected individuals and their families.

RF Bank & Trust remains dedicated to its mission of empowering clients to achieve comprehensive wealth, whether in the form of financial prosperity, strong relationships, physical health, or other dimensions of well-being. The recent donations underscores the bank's ongoing efforts to make a positive impact on society.
