(NASSAU, THE BAHAMAS) RF Bank & Trust (Bahamas) Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Tanya Carey as the Chief Financial Officer, pending regulatory approval. She will lead the finance and central services departments for the Group which encompasses spearheading all aspects of accounting and financial planning, as well as the operational processes for all Group services. Carey commenced her official duties on March 4, 2024.

Carey is a chartered accountant bringing with her a wealth of experience as CFO and over two decades experience within the financial services industry. Prior to joining RF, Carey held a number of CFO roles including at Deltec Bank & Trust and Higgs & Johnson law firm.  Brett Hill, who has been acting as interim Chief Financial Offer, will continue in his role as Chief Executive Officer of RF Bank & Trust (Cayman) Limited.

Michael Anderson, President of RF Group commented, Tanya’s extensive experience in executive management, fiscal oversight, and strategic financial planning coupled with her proven track record of driving profitability and revenue growth in diverse financial environments will be a great asset to the Board, the Group and myself as we move forward and grow the Group as a leading financial services conglomerate in the regional. She will be pivotal to charting the strategic direction and helping us achieve increased efficiencies across the Group.

On her appointment, Carey said, I’m delighted to join the RF Group as CFO.
